ManaSastram exists because most Telugu astrology on the internet is either a wall of Sanskrit nobody reads, or a fear pitch designed to sell a remedy. We wanted a third thing. Accurate calculation, explained in plain Telugu, with nothing to be afraid of.

ManaSastram is run by Yaswanth Sai Palaghat from Hyderabad, Telangana. It started as something informal, answering questions about muhurtham, namakarana and jathakam for family and friends, and grew into a site once the same questions kept coming back.
It is not a company or a call centre. There is no panel of astrologers waiting on a phone line. It is one person, a set of carefully built tools, and the Telugu tradition the family grew up in.
How the calculations work
Every tool on this site computes real astronomy rather than looking up a table. Positions use the Lahiri ayanamsa, the standard for Telugu practice, with whole sign bhavas.
We check our engines against Swiss Ephemeris, the reference used by professional astrology software. Across 500 test births in 13 cities worldwide between 1955 and 2029, every planetary position and every lagna landed within about half an arcminute, with no rasi ever placed in the wrong sign. Where a graha genuinely sits near a boundary, the tool tells you on screen instead of quietly picking a side.
Births outside India are handled in their own local time, so a birth in Dallas or Toronto is computed as correctly as one in Vijayawada.

We promise the calculation is right, the language is plain, and the free tools stay free.
We do not promise outcomes. Everything here is offered as traditional belief and practice, describing tendencies rather than fixed events. You never read a sentence on this site telling you something bad is coming unless you buy a remedy, because that is not what jyotisha is for and it is not how we want to make a living.
We also do not give medical, legal or financial advice, and nothing here replaces a qualified professional.
Free and paid
The daily panchangam, the nakshatra and raasi finder, kundali matching, the baby name finder, daily rasi phalalu and the muhurtham finder are all free and stay free.
There is one paid product, the Jathakam Report, which reads your whole chart across career, money, marriage, health, home and the period you are in, written in plain Telugu and English. It costs Rs. 199 and it is what keeps the site running.
Corrections welcome
If you spot an error in a panchangam figure, a calculation or a Telugu translation, please write to manasastram2@gmail.com. Corrections get made. A site about accuracy has no business being defensive about it.
